2 tablespoons of cocoa powder.
Now if I could only figure out if and how we can rip down that ugly non-functioning humidity controller thing beside it..So there you have it, my friends!
It’s not much, but progress is progress, I say!I’ve shown you my living room before now and then.Right in the middle of my living room, you find my trusty Ikea Ektorp sofa, about 8 years old-ish.. It’s still comfy.Sometimes it doesn’t look half bad.
I’ve even had people ask me how I keep it so white..This is our second slipcover for this sofa.
The first one was beige and lasted about 4 years.. We picked this one up basically because it was a $300 slipcover on sale for $40.
We weren’t really excited about it at the time, but the old one was done for.Once I was ready to start adding some decor into my new grey living room though, I went looking for some of those silver Summery things and they were nowhere to be found!
I had some of this Rustoleum Mirror Effect spray paint.on hand for another project that I’ve been trying to do for about 8 months or so and I thought I’d experiment with it a bit and see what happened.. Rust-Oleum 267727 Specialty Mirror Spray, 6-Ounce.
It’s totally not meant for this at all. You’re supposed to spray it on the back side of clear glass to create a mirror-like finish, but I thought the worst that could happen is that it would look terrible and then I would just spray some glossy white over top and everything would be fine.
