I was thinking about different decorating projects I could do, but then reminding myself that I need to tackle the bigger stuff first (which I have been, believe-you-me), but then feeling like I just wish I could be “done” one little room so I could actually just play around in it, but then realizing that it was going to take a little while and not to waste my time creating a bunch of decorations that just aren’t going to work in the final room anyway.. It’s a noisy place inside my head..
I really hate cleaning brushes.I have a few brushes that I love to use on trim or for cutting in around corners, but I really don’t look forward to having to clean them after I’ve done all the work of painting already.
If you don’t know about my.super-easy, lazy method of brush cleaning.yet, then you’re missing out.
Really, it’s changed the way I think about painting and made it so much easier for me to get a little painting done way more often..So now you’re set!
Get to painting!
Hey, you could even start that painting project right now if you wanted to.1) Peel and chop about 3 large potatoes into 1.5″ pieces.. 2) Rinse 1 large leek and slice it into 1/4″ rounds.
If your leeks came in a pack of three like mine did, slice the other two and freeze them so you can make this soup again anytime you like!.3) Combine potatoes, leeks, 1 packet of onion soup mix, and about 4 cups of water in the crock pot.. 4) Cook on high for about 4 hours.. 5) Puree the soup with an immersion blender or in small batches in a blender.
Add a bit of water or milk (if desired) to thin the soup out to a consistency that looks good to you!.Now, this soup is delicious as-is, but I find that the key to getting my family to actually eat it is all in how I dress it up.
